Is Generative AI Overhyped or Just Misunderstood?

There’s been a lot of debate around whether Generative AI is overhyped. From my perspective, the issue isn’t hype—it’s expectation misalignment.

Many organizations expect immediate transformation without investing in data readiness, governance, or change management. AI is powerful, but it’s not a plug-and-play solution.

The real value comes when it’s integrated thoughtfully into workflows, not just layered on top.
