  • Payment Runs: BACS/CHAPS for 50+ suppliers, optimizing for cash flow
  • Forecasting: 13-week rolling cash flow – critical for SaaS with lumpy subscription revenue

The Turning Point: Process Automation (Oct 2023)

Identified 3 major bottlenecks and fixed them:

20% Error Reduction: Built Excel matching tool (XLOOKUP + VBA) that caught duplicate invoices before payment. Saved £15K first quarter.

Before: Manual 3-way matching (PO + GRN + Invoice) = 2 hours daily
After: Automated dashboard flags exceptions = 20 mins review time
