Model selection becomes overwhelming when the team has too many options and too little decision criteria. Every model seems good at something, which makes it hard to know which one is actually right for the product. The answer is not to compare everything at once. It is to focus on the most important constraints: cost, speed, quality, reliability, and maintenance burden. Once the evaluation is narrowed to what really matters, the choice becomes much clearer.
