Users don’t trust AI fully yet

That hesitation is rational. Users have seen AI produce polished answers that are incomplete, overconfident, or wrong in ways that are hard to detect quickly. Once that happens a few times, trust becomes much harder to earn.

Trust improves when the system behaves consistently, explains uncertainty, and stays useful even in edge cases. Users do not need AI to feel magical; they need it to feel dependable enough to use again.

The product teams that win trust usually focus on restraint, clarity, and recoverability. A system that knows its limits often feels more credible than one that tries to answer everything.
